Default 94 civic vtec not starting need help

ok so my 94 civic vtec refuses to start, i recently just replaced the battery and alternator and checked all fuses, but the car will not start, it doesnt attempt to turn over at all, no noise or anything, it does start on occaision but once you start driving the car again it wont start back up. The only way to get it to go is if you get it rolling and pop the clutch, which i'm not a fan of that cant be good. I do know my car has an odd aftermarket alarm, the alarm will only go off if you open the drivers door, but i'm not sure if it kills power to the fuel pump and ignition, becuase i could just hit the button for the alarm and it would be fine. Has anyone ever dealt with this? i need to fix this problem soon its not good

sounds like starter, probably just solenoid. or just a starter wire, if you are lucky.

i have expierienced "occasional" starting from two things: one was a loose wire so check all the wires.

another was the Park saftey. See the car would be in park but the saftey switch that wont let you start it when it isnt in park would be fidgety and i would have to wiggle it around to convince the car that it was indeed in park and could be started! Same goes for the clutch pedal saftey switch in a manual.

thats just 2 things could be other things

yeah it was the wire going from the clutch to the starter, the kid that had the car before me screwed up an alarm or something and the wire ended up getting cut, so whenever the car would actually start, it was becuase the cut wire was connecting, thanks for all the help to those who replied
