were there any codes of any sort,i had my engine light come on and it has the O2 and fuel pressure regulator but the problem the scanner says to check i don't have.

There have been some people here with OBD1 ECU's that were slow to "boot up" but in those cases the fuel pump didn't start either until the ECU was ready to start.

If you are getting codes related to VTEC or an automatic transmission on a car that doesn't have those systems, you have the wrong ECU installed.

There were never any codes. Only difficulty in starting.

Hmm I have the same issue but when the engine is warmed and left for 20min ;o
