Default '94 EX not starting. Orlando.

Hi guys,

my 94 EXwith a D15B decided not to start this morning. I checked the plug wires and fuel pump. everything seems to be in order and the car cranks strong. I see a broken hose leading to the pcv and the car doesnt wanna start. Any ideas that i can try. I checked all tne fuses and all is fine.

Thanks.

Do you have spark at all four plugs and do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to ON?

Replace the PCV hose because, in the current state, the broken hose is allowing too much air to enter the intake manifold.

i am getting spark from all 4 and it is priming. the one problem is the PCV hose is broken from the end that is not in the valve itself and I cant figure out where the other end goes. do u have a pic or diagram of where it connects from before it goes to the pcv itself?

thanks

Is the CEL ON? Have you tried to recover a trouble code from the ECU? If there are no codes, when was the fuel filter last replaced? Might the timing belt have slipped?

Hey RonJ,
