i'm looking for a new car and i came across a 95' honda civic EX coupe, it already has about 174,000 miles on it and there askin $2,500, i was wonderin if anyone thinks this is a good deal and about how many more miles i could expect to get out of it if i do buy it.

 

I think its a little too much for a '95, i paid $4,000 for my '99 EX with 80,000 miles.
As far as how many miles, as long as the engine has been maintained properly it should run for at least 40,000 more miles i think.

 

Well, I think that that is a fair price. You maybe could talk them down a little more. But, if it has been treated kindly, you can get 300k out of these engines easily. I have 240k right now.

 

If the body and interior are all in good shape and it drives well, $2500 is certainly a fair price, as said above always try to talk down a little. It may be in your benefit to get the car inspected before you buy it as well just in case there are some little things here and there.

 

yea the interior and outside is pretty nice, we had it looked at and he said that it looks pretty good but i could expect to have to replace some things in the future
