95 civic questions: headlights & breaking in
Hey,
so i have the 95 civic dx coupe 5 spd....almost all of you know what i'm talking about. anyway i had my car broken into a second time last night and i would like to know how i can prevent this from happining in the future. as you know the dx has "power nothing" and its fairly easy to break in the car.
my second problem is that my head light on the passenger side doesn't work but the high beam does work. does any one know if i can just replace the bulb or what.
thanks for your thoughts and comments.

First one, get and alarm /build a garage, are the only things that will HELP prevent it, it won't gaurantee anything
The second just sounds like a fuse is blown.

ya if your bulb is just blown just buy a new one... THO when replacing headlights its best to replace them both at the same time.... otherwise your headlights wont match and it will preaty much look stupid! LOL
and dito on the alarm... BUT its never that safe.... if you have it parked around your yard then instal some outdoor lighting and turn them on at night... but if your in a apartment....
just either hide anything of value and tint your windows... put in a blinking led light
but a real alarm would be best..... just be sure its instaled right and it will go off if the door is opened or the hood and trunk... that way they cannt get in without seting off the alarm...
but also hide your valuables outta view!

Hey,
Thanks for all your comments. So I'm gonna just replace both head light bulbs actually. As far as my car getting broken into I never keep stuff in the car, and I usually put up a posted sign saying not to break in. Long story short I think its just time to get a newer more power-full civic!
Thanks for the replies!
