Default 95 civic starting problems

My eg will not start. Doesn't click when i turn the key, but the battery still powers my 1000watt amp and subwoofers so i know it isnt my battery. Also just out on a brand new starter and that didn't do the trick either. I had the same problem on my 91 hatch and it was the neutral safety switch, but i cant seem to find it on this car. Any help is appreciated.

Edit: I found the neutral safety switch and pressed it in with my finger and car still did not start. thinking starter relay, or ignition switch?

Manuals have a switch on the clutch pedal, it's common for the rubber pad to fall out and fail to press the button on the switch. Automatics have the neutral switch at the base of the shift lever inside the car. There is no relay in the automatic (unless it has anti-theft), the manual has a relay mounted near the top of the clutch pedal. In any case you can probe with a voltmeter on the black wire with white stripe, starting from the ignition switch through the clutch/neutral system, and out to the starter.

To rule out (or rule in) interior wiring, jump the starter under the hood-- connect a test wire from the small terminal on the starter to battery +. Be absolutely sure the car is not in gear, the hand brake is on, and stand to the side so it can't run over you. If the engine cranks when you do that, you know the battery, starter, and the big power and ground wires between them are OK.
