Default 95 Civic - Thermostat housing gasket?

Does it even have one? I tried doing a searh and gave up after 20 threads finding NO mention of any type of gasket or o-ring.

I bought a thermostat and just realized thereis no gasket with it, so am wondering if I need to head back to the parts store.

Thx

i don't think you need a gasket, when i replaced my g/f's head gasket i was playing around with stuff and i took her thermostat out... i just put some red sealant stuff that comes in a tube around it... you can get it at autozone for like $2
