Default 95 ex cruise control

i have a 95 ex that cruise dont work on, i have swapped everything from dash button to steering buttons and the big unit under hood took it off brothers car that works purfect, all vacume lines are hooked and cables are hooked and not broke,the light doese come on that is on the dash when you press it but nothen else happends when you try to turn it on by the steering wheel buttons what should i look for? if wires which ones or is there a computer or something n where would it be located?

Have you checked under-dash fuses 15 and 24, as well as under-hood fuse 42?

I have checked all of the fuses that are clear ones under dash and hood

Doing the input tests detailed in my post above should identify the problem.

ok thanks.. i knew the cruise control unit box was somewhere in the car.. I'm still trying to figure out what the big box thing is that is in the trunk on the passenger side my lx didn't have that..

If it's a manual transmission, the clutch pedal switch is often the problem. The lower switch will drop out the cruise control (or prevent it from engaging) when it detects the pedal is pressed even slightly. Check that the rubber pad on the pedal arm, which presses the switch button when the pedal is all the way up, is still there.

Not sure. You can check the 96-98 manual at the link in my signature.
