I have a 98 civic dx d16y7 exhaust manifold, it has an aftermarket exhaust with a test pipe. I was wondering if a d16y8 exhaust manifold would fit in the place of the pre-existant manifold and test pipe? Your help is appreciated.

 

with the y8 header it will fit just the same but i highly recomend getting a EX cat as well to replace that test pipe. and some O2 wire extenders.
