96 civic Driver window issue

Default 96 civic Driver window issue

Hello everyone I'm new to the forum this is my first post.
well anyways my issue is my driver window will not roll up or down i bought a new window switch it wasnt that. the switch rolls up the passanger window and not the driver. the only way i can roll up/down the driver window is by putting powere directly to the wires then it works can any1 help cuz summertime is coming. ty

It's common for the wires to break where they go across between the door and the rest of the car. Turn on the key, open the door, hold the button down, and wiggle the wires. If that makes the window go, repair or replace the door harness. Note that if you pull the harness apart, the wires may look normal on the outside though the copper inside is broken.

would it b broken if i still cant jump it by putting power to the back of the switch?
