i have a 96 dx coupe with a 98 d16y7 that i recently installed after i threw a rod in my old motor, worked fine for the first while after lots of trouble shooting an sorting small things out, then i put a z6 intake manifold on it with a y7 throttle body and y7 injectors, ( installed completly properly, reserched for days before i did it ) but dont laugh at my stupidity, when i was installing the vaccume hosefor the PCV i actually used another pcv valve i had laying around as an elbow in the vaccume line, i didnt no it was a one way valve, so i drove it for 2 or 3 weeks without problem other then valve cover bolts shooting off and gaskets blowing,car worked great, really great actually, now yesterday, it wont rev up , it has no power, its winter and when i leave my car to warm up the snow behind my exhaust is just black, if i try an rev it up it will back fire an shoot black soot all over myu yard, not smoke mind you, just peices of carbon out the exhasut, it is burning a little bit of oil for some reason, but it really looks like a fuel problem to me. i cant seem to be able to jump the connector to put CELs , lol , i just cant count that light it all looks the same. HELP!!!!!
