Default 96 Honda Civic HB driver's window

96 Honda Civic hatchback, the driver's window crank handle shaft came off of where it attaches inside the door. After taking the door apart I can see where it should attach to the small gear, but there doesn't appear to be any way to reattach the handle shaft. Is the handle shaft supposed to be all one part with the window regulator mechanism?

Thanks.

Yeah, you'll need to replace the regulator.
