I got a 96 civic 4dr. When i go to start it, it just acts like i ran out of gas. But i got 3/4 a tank. Its not the battery i dont think becayse it trys to turn over as long as i will let it. Dont sound like the starter either. Shouldnt be the altanator because the battery has plenty of juice. Replaced the spark plugs. Checked the fuses.

I was at my friends for about a hour and went out to start my car and it started doing this. No problems before i got to my friends. Any help would be appriciated.

Sounds like your engine went out to me. It can go out over a period of time or all of a sudden. Mine did the same thing, only while I was on the interstate..

 

Sorry.. I meant to say "engine coil" not engine. Best of luck to you...

 

check for spark at the plugs.
