I got it going. What I did to resolve the issue is as follows

#1. charge battery up (was a bit weak)

#2. Find TDC for Cyl 1

#3. Car was rough to start at this point.. and took some cranking but got it going idling too fast

#4. Busted timing light out and adjusted the timing bringing it back to normal

#5. Test drove and all seems well for now.
