I recently replaced the blower motor as well as a new AC compressor, evaporatior etc in my 98 Civic and all AC problems appeared to be solved for a month. However yesterday a new problem occured immediately after the car is turned off, there is a whining noise coming from the blower motor area. It lasts for a few seconds. Today, I set the fan on 3 and a melting plastic odor eminated from the vent, in addition to smoke. I turned off the fan, then turned it to 1 and two and neither smoke or smell occured. What is going on now?
