98 Civic Keyless system trouble
I just bought a 98 civic ex coupe and the keyless ststem is not working.
I thought that the problem is due to the fact that the factory radio was replaced, but I found the factory radio connected and hidden behind the cup holder.
I tryed to to reprogram the transmiter but guess what..[:@]..the factory radio does not have a faceplate so it has no reset button(also known as the valet button).
Does anyone know if it is possible and if it is how to reprogram the transmiter without having the faceplate to the radio?
Any help will be appreciated.

Way back in the day we used to take the faces off the stock stereos cause they were so hard to stash in the dash. We usally did 1 of 3 things with them.
1. Put them in the box to the new stereo and left it in the customers car.
2. Wrapped it in plastic and stashed it in the glove compartment.
3. Taped it to the back of the glove.
GL, but you may want to start looking to aftermarket keyless/alarm
