Default 98 civic wont start

My 98 civic lx won't start. It drove fine until yesterday morning when it stopped working. We know its not the battery because it rolls over fine. After playing around with it for a few hours and after going to get some gasline antifreeze my uncle figured out it was flooded so he took all the spark plugs and everything out and let them dry and then it worked fine again. This morning he went out to move my ccar and the same thing happened... it wont start. He says its flooded. Any ideas

Did it just quit while driving? The plugs were wet with gas when taken out?

It's very rare for a modern car to "flood." Generally that can be cleared by holding the gas pedal wide open and cranking for several seconds.

More likely your ignition or fuel pump is intermittent. First thing to do would be to pull a spark plug wire and connect it to a spare plug and test for spark.
