I have a 98 ex w/d16y8 manual in it. What engines and parts can be interchanged with this motor. It recently took a turn for the worse and i'm looking to save some $.

Which parts do you need? what is broken?

 

Lucky for you people swap out those engines a lot for ones with more power. So you can get a replacement for a good deal. Just look around and call around first, you should be able to get one for $400-$600 with not much more than 100k miles on it.
