I have a 98 honda civic Lx 5 speed that stays revved at 2000 rpm when stopped and even when its in gear. The car feels pretty good when driven but the rpm just won't go under 2000 rpms. Does anybody know what it could be? Thank you guys any help is much appreciated!

 

Mine ended up being the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) It was sticking open and impacting manifold pressure. After I replaced it idle was back to normal.
