99 civic no start
i have a 99 civic 1.6 crank no start tried igniter and coil and no help, checked plug at dist fot power key on and turning over no good either way, do not have spark for sure should i be able to get my test light to come on at any of these wires on this connector ? i have been told that pick up in dist could be problem and if so will need new dist, also my check eng light does come on and go off at key up. any help would be great.
The BLK/YEL wire of the distributor connector should have 12V when the ignition key is turned to ON (II).
1) Check whether fuse 41 (80A) or 42 (40A) under the hood or fuse 9 (15A) under the dash is blown.
2) Check whether the important ground wire attached to the thermostat housing is tight and not corroded.
Does the fuel pump prime for 2 seconds when the ignition key is turned to ON(II)?
