The BLK/YEL wire of the distributor connector should have 12V when the ignition key is turned to ON (II).

1) Check whether fuse 41 (80A) or 42 (40A) under the hood or fuse 9 (15A) under the dash is blown.

2) Check whether the important ground wire attached to the thermostat housing is tight and not corroded.

Does the fuel pump prime for 2 seconds when the ignition key is turned to ON(II)?
