Default 99 civic starts when it wants to

I have a 99 civic ex. One day when it was raining the car stalled out at a light. It wouldn't start for 10 minutes then decided to start up with no more problems for a week. Then one morning I tried to start it for the first time and it wouldn't start. It would crank but not fire. When I got home after work it started up. It was a little rough at first but smoothed out quickly. It ran fine for a couple days. Then one morning it wouldn't start, in the afternoon it started up perfectly and ran fine. Then the next day in the morning it took 5 tries to get it started. First it would just crank, then crank with a couple miss fires, then a bunch of miss fires, then it started and ran fine. I drove it to work with no problems.

Any ideas?

nah. Next time it won't start, take the cap off and see if theres water/moisture in it. Also, it might be a good idea to pull it off just to see if the terminals inside are still good. Chances are you might just need a new cap and rotor setup, which is fairly cheap
