Default 99 Won't Start

Little background info first. Got My '99 Civic recently and it had a SC on it when I bought it and I am by no means a master mechanic. I do have a friend who is pretty knowledgeable about cars, unfortunately though not about Hondas. I recently threw/broke the belt off the alternator, which is connected to the SC also for those who don't know. When the belt broke it got wrapped around the crank. Well we managed to get it untangled and put a new belt on but now the car won't start. It's turning over but doesn't seem to be getting any spark. I am thinking the timing is off but really don't have a clue... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If its not getting spark at all, than timing isn't the issue. Best thing you can do is start with the basics and work forward.

Check mechanical timing (mark on crank gear lined up with arrow on oil pump, cam gear marks level with head surface)
Reset ECU
Check to make sure you're getting power to the dizzy
Figure out why you're not getting spark

Forty you're in MI right? What would it take for me to convince you to come down to the Detroit area, in the suburbs, and take a look at it for me?

Man, I'd love to be able to come and help you out. I have to pick up my new car tomorrow morning, then I have a wedding tomorrow night, and am fairly occupied during Sunday and next week. If you can hold out, I might be able to make a trip over next weekend, but its hard to say.

Where exactly are you at in Detroit? I'm also going to PM you with some info for guys who may be able to help.
