ABS on '95 Civic

ABS on '95 Civic
I slid off the snowy road and landed in a ditch. The wheels were turned as I slid off the road. Everything seems OK, except when I step on the brakes "hard". Then what seems to be the ABS makes a loud, sharp, "grinding/crunchy" noise. Not the typical ABS noise/vibration. Brakes work fine when I apply them in a "normal" fashion. Any thoughts?
