ABS fuse?
HONDA CIVIC 2003 TYPE-S
Sorry to go over old ground but i've read quite a few posts on here and need a bit of clarification. My ABS warning light has been on for a couple of days so after reading lots I decided to find the fault code myself but so far it's proving difficult to find. I inserted a paperclip in to port 9 and 4 of the fault connection block, turned the ignition to position ii and waited for lights to begin flashing but nothing happened. I've double and tripple checked, re-inserted the paperclip and still nothing. So I have the following questions:
Am I meant to acutally start the car with the paperclip inserted? (i'm expecting the answer to be no but wanted to check)
How can I tell if the paperclip is interted properly? Should I jiggle it with the ignition on to see if I can get something to register? (i'm expecting the answer to be no but wanted to check)
Could it be the fuse? Which one is it so I can check?
If I don't get a Flashing light and i'm sure the connection is fine what else could it be?
Thanks for any help.

so are you saying I can't use a paperclip to connect the jumpers and I will only be able to see the codes with a scanner? I thought by law manufacturers had to make it accesible to people without specialist equipment
