AC fan runs but no air comes out

Default AC fan runs but no air comes out
My daughters 2003 Civic LX has a problem with the AC fan. The fan will be working fine and then will stop blowing air through the vents. The fan continues to run but the air stops. This does not happen all the time. Any ideas what the problem could be?
