Default Adjusting parking brake tension

The parking brake on my 98 EX needs to be tightened, cold anyone give me some directions? I tried looking around on the car but couldn't find anything obvious. Thanks in advance.

First if the car has rear drum brakes, take the drums off and inspect that the self-adjusting feature is still working so the shoes are almost touching the drum with the brakes off. Then if that is the case, put the drums and wheels back on and go ahead and adjust the lever inside the car as shown.

mk378 makes an important point. When my parking brake became loose, the main problem was that brake "glop" prevented the adjuster bolt from rotating freely in clevis A of the self-adjusting mechanism (see picture). You definitely need to inspect these rear brake parts.
