Default aftermarket intaake pipe supposed to be bigger?

MY intake pipe is 3 inches, and the throttle body is smaller. Is it supposed to be like that, it fits weird with the rubber sleve. It hangs down and i can pull the intake out of the sleve with some force.

Its a bomz racing intake. even tho it could be the wrong intake, i think if i buymore clams i can get it to stay on the throttle body better.

Should the intake pipe be over the throttle body? Or only near it, then clamp it on the ruber sleve?

When i put the air filter on the intake hangs down?

ya might have to make alittle brace for it. some can be larger... its nothing to big to consider. look at those whale ****** intakes.LOL those are realy fat! if the rubber clamp doesnt stick well then i would get some 80grit sandpaper and just ruff the outter metal around the TB and the intake should bite better. i had that problem before on a old car. the TB is just to smooth on the outside and it cannt bite to well.

lol
that's an ebay off brand name intake for ya
but, as it has been proven before, you can make anything fit, with enough modification

it looks like it comes with the brackets needed. use the L shaped bracket and stick it under the filters clamp strap and use the other bracket on the strut tower or where ever it can go.
