I have a 1998 civic ex.


When I turn my ac on level 1, 2 there is a tapping noice, coming from under the passengers side foot area.

I don't know if the problem still occurs when the air is turned up higher, because it blows loud.

Anyone else had this happen? What is/could it be?

 

You may have some leaves trapped in the blower motor. It's pretty easy to remove the motor and clear out the debris.
