Default Alignment Problems

I have a 93 Civic Si Hatch, with about 194000 miles. Since i have gotten it about 2 years ago, my alignment goes bad around every 2000 - 3000 miles. I dont know if there is a part that I can replace to fix this. Its always been camber problems with wear on the inside of the tire. It also happens on both front at rear. Moreso the right side then the left side. Thanks

Maybe you should try a different alignment shop. The shop should tell you if you need any parts replace before they start an alignment. I had my car aligned a few times, the best alignment I got was from the dealer. I went to the dealer because some lady hit my rear tire as she was leaving a driveway. So it didn't matter how much it cost.

Anyways, it does likesounds your camber is off. The tires are leaning in, sort in a shape as an A when you look at it from the front or rear. Is your car at stock height? There are camber kits available to fix these problems.

If your car is lowered (ie: drop springs "slammed", etc.) that is the problem. Lowering a car will give it negative camber (tire leans in at the top which wears the inside edge of the tire) the only "alignable" angle on a Honda is "toe" (tie rods adjust the toe), camber and caster are not adjustable. Some aftermarket companies do make camber kits for Hondas (some are upper control arms with adjustable ball joints) some are acentric bolts (sp). If an alignment tech tells you he set your camber to prevent tire wear he is full of S**t!
