I have a 95 CX with an 8 valve 1.5 engine and 249xxx miles. I just changed oil (again), and was wondering if anyone has been able to source a double length filter for these cars. I currently have a Wix 21334 filter on it, with M20-1.5 threads and 2.475in dia gasket (standard sizes). On old Chevy trucks there is a spin on filter that holds another quart of oil. I am hoping there is a filter for these cars that is twice as long, since there is plenty of room behind the engine. Filter manufacturers are not much help, no cross reference is available using the thread and gasket size as searchable fields.

I am somewhat new to the Civic world, so apologize if this subject has been flogged to death previously.
