I had the same problem. I was driving from school, when I stalled at a stoplight..my car would make a machine gun noise..when I got it jumped, radio didn't work, a/c wasn't blowing cold, odometer and tachometer wasn't working..when I got home I changed the battery, and alternator belt..its been about almost a month since then and I'm having no problems except my battery light is still on..
