alternator dying?

its very common with some dimming. its just your ground wire issue with such a small amplifier. your stock ground wire is only maybe 6-7gauge upgrade it to at least 4gauge and youll be fine.

alright so i cleaned the grounds and my lights dont dim at idle anymore yea!
but i still get the dimming when the bass hits lol
so im thinking about getting a new lighter battery that i will be relocating into my storage container(looks like back bench seat)
what battery is lighter and will work better if i ever upgrade my system?
and what gauge wires should i use?

alright so i had thebattery and alternator tested today and the alternator is good but the battery is "mediocre at best" so i guess ill be getting a new one soon

Batteries have life spans. Your old one's might have been cut short because your system is putting too much of a strain on the battery.

no im pretty sure the batteryhas had a full life its very old
the autozone guy that tested it even mentioned how old it was...and small lol
its one of the old cheap duralast batteries with the white letters on the side
