Default Am I reducing the torque of the wrench?

3/4" impact wrench with a 2 inch 1/2" extension with a 1/2" socket (obviously). Also the wrench has a 1/2" inlet for a 3/8" plug, but I am using a 1/4" plug.
Am I killing the torque by the reductions?

I am also running the air higher than 90psi which all tools seem to recommend...the more air the better?

Don't start new threads about the same problem. Extensions should be avoided, especially those not intended for impact use, since they can wind up like a torsion spring and absorb the impact.

Last week I would not have even noticed this "truth". After trying to remove wheel nuts with then without an extension a light is my head snapped on.
