it's from a 91 crx vtec, was thinking about putting it into my 2000 3 dr hatch - would it work or what else would i need to make it work? (goddamn cheap for an engine!)

it will work but it would work alot better with a 92+ transmission but I have to ask why are you willing to put a 15 year old engine in your 2000 model car in the name of about 15 more whp?
i thought the b16a's produced 160bhp? my car currently only has 90bhp
i've been looking for a transplant, and this seems to be the best choice right now. there is a block for sale on ebay for about €200, was thinking of getting that and starting from scratch (gimme something to do in the evenings!) although if i could get a complete unit, why not?
is there much difference between the '90 crx block and later blocks (exhaust manifold, etc.)?

Hey man I just did it into my car(also a 2000) but now I have emission legality issues. CHECK YOUR Local LAWS about putting an older motor into a newer car!!!!! Save yourself alot of aggrivation!!!!!
For emissions.. i keep a second gauge cluster since i bought an EX one from Marty.. this way when its time for emissions i just swap my old one back in and take it for inspection and per Pennsylvania state laws.. under 5k miles per year and your exempt from emissions.
