Thought it would be easy on my g/f's 02 Civic, but I couldnt figure it out. I got the 2 screws behind the door handle out, but then what do I do? Thanks,

not sure on 02s....but usually some panel clips along bottom edge and then lift out and up. Panels have hooks molded into them nowadays.

 

Im sure a few others out there have taken the door apart to replace the speakers or something. Anyone?

 

not sure in a 02, but its pretty basic...theres usually a screw behind the hood handle, and one in the console area were your power windows are and such, once you take thos screws out, look around the outer bottom edge of the door for any screws there, if there is not..then you need to slowly start pulling the door panel away from the metal, you will here loud POPS as these are the plastic screw things holding the door planel to the door..all of your door will come out this way, you need to unclip the wiring harness for your power door locks and such, if there is a spot that dosent want to come out, look around that area for a screw you could of missed

...iv taking many doors apart becaues i used to work at a audio shop, this is the way we take all the doors off, you just need to look for screws and be gental, its only plastic
