B16 reving Problem. Need help

Default B16 reving Problem. Need help

I have a JDM b16 with the p30 ecu swap in my 97 civic dx and When i have my car in neutral or even in drive, i cant rev past 4k rpms. Why is it doing this and How do i fix that?[/align]

Either the vtec is wired wrong, or you dont have enough oil in it. Check all your fluids, and if everything looks fine, check your wiring for the vtec system. I assume you did the proper procedures and wired the vtec to the ecu?

Who did the swap? Where did you get the motor from? If some shop did the swap I would be asking them.

I did the swap myself but i'm not good with the wiring section. I hooked up the vtec solenoid and the vtec oil pressure has 2 wires one goes to pinout D6 and the other one i'm clueless, but i think it's a ground but where does that ground go?
