i did a swap about a year ago and they used the original harness from the old motor witch was a d16y8. everything is good but the headlights,dashlights flicker cant figure it out tried changing all the groundwires,new batteryand alternator.if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.

 

Seems to me like a ground wire is missing if in deed all of those components were replaced and they are functioning properly. Something is causing an unstable voltage. Are there any accessories added to your car that draw power?

 

just a 5 inch tach and it worked fine before i did the swap. im thinking the guy that did the swap moded the original harness in order to plug the alternator wires in the alt is off a 94 gsr. thanks 4 your help
