Default B16B turbo

Im builing my b16b to run some boost while i have it out of the car still (valves, springs, etc etc). however i spent to much money on internals and now wont be able to get the turbo kit for awhile. if i put the stage 1 turbo cams in now, how crappy will it run without a turbo kit?

Get ZEX cams. It wont be too bad without boost, it will give you more power than stock, but boost will really make it perform at its best.

I'd leave the CTR cams in and boost on them.

ctr = what you have, a b16b is a civic type r motor.

lol. ok. i have the skunk2 cam gears already. thanks for the advice. i think ill just leave the ctr ones in until i actually get the turbo kit. one more question. i live in bozeman montana. not exactly a big tuner shop town. since i will be using the ctr cams and the skunk2 cam gears....how hard is it to tune out the valve overlap when i do finally get the turbo kit? or do i even need to do this. i do have access to a dyno by the way. dynojet is actually based outta here and im good friends with most of the inventors/managment there and he said i could just use it for a day if i wanted. as long as i let them try outa new powercomander on it (probobly wont happen since my friends wrx has been there for about a year for r&d)
