Ball joint

Default Ball joint

Does any one know how to move the LBJ so i can swing the brakes around that way a can replace my axel?

loosen up the ball joint nut till its almost off -
then get a BIG hammer (i use a 2 1/2 lb sledgehammer )
wack the lower control arm where the ball joint goes thru , a few times to free it up, take the nut off (leaving the nut on a little saves you the trouble of replacing the ball joint cause when you swing n miss with the hammer & hit the ball joint stud & wipe it out - been there - done it)then just lift up the spindle assy

It's a lot easier if you just go to autozone and rent one of these...
