batt. light problems

Default batt. light problems

i have an 02 civic d17a2. my alternator went out and the battery light went on and i replaced it with a new one and the light was still on so i had it all volt tested and everything is working right but the batt. light is still on ,what do i i do

Unplug the plug with the small wires at the alternator, turn key on and see if the light is still on. If it is, there is a short in the wiring. If not you might have gotten a bum alternator.

Check whether 10A fuse 4 under the dash is blown.
