Default Battery Warranty Info

09 Civic EX Coupe. 88k. New Honda Battery installed in Dec 2013. Battery is dead. Label on battery says 100 month pro-rated. Cannot find any info on this, such as what % of the replacement cost will they cover at 40 months? (assuming the battery is in fact dead.. will not hold a charge, etc)
Thks!

probably 60% of the cost if you have the receipt.

Sorry... I should have followed up on this.

First... The Honda Battery was installed by a dealer about 28 months ago. Don't know where I got that that 40 month figure.

The Battery was in fact dead. The dealer installed a new battery at no cost (no charge for parts and labor). I believe it was because it was under the 3 year 36 month full coverage warranty period.
If it had been 40 months, I figure they would have pro-rated the battery and charged for labor.
