Default Black soot on inside tail pipe!

The other day some guy was telling me that my tail pipe had soot inside! He said that something needed to be cleaned that was sticking, can not remember if he was talking about valves or what!

Can anyone tell me what he was talking about?

If you really care then just wash your car and use something to scrub your exhaust. Ps use a old rag its gonna be black as the night when your done.

Take a look at tail pipes on all kinds of vehicles and you will see the same black "soot".
