blows smoke, after head install
Need some help again. I blow the head gasket. So i disassembled the motor took the head down to get resurfaced. the took .004 off the head and the said it was it in really god shape. was not warped, so I also had them dclean the valves up resurface my valves. put the head back together had to reinstall 2 of the exhaust valve seals because i forgot to install the seats prior to putting them on. but they looked fine. Used plenty of assemble lube and marvel mystery oil while putting the head back together.
cleaned up the block it looked awsome prior to putting the head on and cleaned up the intake got rid of the carbon build up. and put it all back together and compression was awesome. double checked the valves for .009 intake and .011 for exhaust, as specified in the service manual.
Then started the motor, ran fine till when i gave it gas. when i accelerate she pumps out white smoke lots of it at idle she seems fine clear exhaust, let her run for over an hour in the driveway while i was bleeding the coolant system.
Went ahead and tood the valve cover off double checked the torque on the head bolts 49 lbs. re checked the valve clearance.
So my question for everyone here is do I just need to let her run longer maybe get her out on the freeway and just try blowing all the crap out of the head or is there a seal or something I did not put in while assembling the motor. Do i possible have a bad head gasket. all the parts came from the Honda dealer. If you could help me figure this one out i would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you

Maybe you just have some coolant left in the muffler and exhaust. You may have to actually drive the car (not necessarily on the freeway) to get everything hot enough to boil it out. Before driving, inspect the spark plugs and test the compression again to see if you have a leaky cylinder.
I didn't think of this but i plan to go home after work and change the oil, clean the plugs, and take it out around the block and do some driving to see if I can get all the oil out of the cylinder head, and if there is anything else in the system. does anyone know about breaking in a new rebuilt head, should I not drive it on the freeway for a little bit or at least hold back like not doing 80mph? and if so how long of a break in period. Hopefully I can get it all "oil and stuff" to burn off.
thanks
thanks
You don't need to break in a head at all, break in is for the rings and bearings in the bottom half of the engine. But don't do 80 if you're still making smoke after some ordinary driving, something is wrong and going faster will make it worse.
