That's what I'm planning to do, but I'm a seventeen year old girl with no knowledge of mechanic repair. We got the car cheaply and it's worth almost twice what we paid for it, but I'm hoping to get at least 8000-8500. I'll definitely make a profit off of that.
I found a salvage door and other parts that are pretty good, but I'm still looking for someone who will/can do the repairs at a good cost.

Thanks for the advice, I'll start looking on the forum and and begin working on my car when it comes back from the shop.

I had a 08 Lx 4 door civic, i rear ended someone one day. 100% my fault, not looking. anyways..... the only airbag that went off was my drivers belt. Man.... it cost almost 2k to replace it. there was the belt itself and to computers.

i forget these seatbelts utilise explosive material to jam them during an accident and have to be replaced. i remember honda recalling those faulty airbags that exploded metal shrapnel into peoples faces. i also remember hearing something about a federal law that mandates free replacement of seatbelts.

I found a door for around 630 dollars, it only had a small faded area and hopefully it comes with airbags. They are so expensive...

I read about the powder somewhere. I heard that it's usually cornstarch or talcum powder. Hmm I wasn't so sure about the airbags, I might as well replace the door panel and get my airbags repackaged then...
