Default brake problems

i changed the brakes on my friends 95 ex with abs. everything went pretty smooth. but when we were finished we took it for a test drive and hear a noise. almost like a sqeek. but more of a whinning squeek. like something rubbing. i took the wheels of and compressed the pads with a c- clamp. turned the rotor it didnt make the noise. could it just be the pads needing to wear down a drop or is the caliper shot. or could it be a bearing. the c- clamp thing makes me lean towards caliper. but i have no idea help

Default RE: brake problems

What kind pads did you used? I use Honda pads. Check your rotors to see if they are out of round(warped). Calipers doesn't usually make noise, they either freezed up or leak fluid.. It may the wheel bearings, but is a long shot because it started after the brake job.
