Brakes...
Did my brake job last night, ran into an issue and figure you guys would know better than anyone on this... I had to drill out the 2 phillips head screws on my drivers side rotor because they were stuck (impossible to remove! almost didnt get the passenger side out but eventually got them off), the auto parts stores do not carry these screws either... but I talked to the guys at Orileys and Autozone and they both told me they were non-necessity parts... Is this true? They said they were just put on there to hold the rotors on during production, I dont know if I should believe that. I assembled it all back and am driving it today but was curious if I should get those screws ordered from Honda, or if it was even something to worry about. All appears to be functioning fine by the way, and also got rid of my high speed steering shake. (passenger warped rotor)

Thanks, thats what I thought but when it comes to brakes would rather be safe than sorry! I appreciate the help! They seemed very useless. They should put something in the box with new rotors that state that and save a lot of people trouble. I dont know how I did it but I mangaged to get the rotor screws out on the passenger side when I was changing the CV halfshaft without stripping them out! Cool! Bottom line, thanks for your help!
