A/C Problem, Once Turned On Engine Fails
Need Help. I Have A 99 Honda Civic with a D16Y7 Engine. Engine Runs Fine, Except When A/C is turned On.
A/C belt had been busted for a while and now that its been replaced, Engine Seems To loose All its power once the A/c Is Turned on, Won't Accelerate. As soon as A/C is Turned Off, Engine Works Fine. A/C Works Fine When Car Is on PARK, Doesnt Overheat And Both Fans Work Fine.
Have taken It to 2 Mechanics and both tell me I Need A New Compressor.Not So Convincing Tough. A/C Clutch Maybe?
Weather Is About 100 Degrees Everyday, So I Could Really Use Some Help.
