Default Can't get distributor rotor screw out!

I'm trying to get my distributor rotor screw out so I can change the ignition coil but I can't get that damn screw out, it's seized and just about stripped. What do I do?

That sucker can be a major pain in the ***.. Make sure you're not using a screwdriver that is too small to really grab. You want the biggest head you can possible fit into the top of the screw, and turn slowly while pushing "in"

If you do strip it out, you can always try one of those broken screw removal dealios but I've never had any luck with them

So if it doesn't come out with one of those easy-out things, I'll have tio replace the whole distributor or something?

If it doesn't come out with a screwdriver, remove dizzy from the car and use a vise to break away the plastic parts of the rotor, then grab the screw with vise-grips. New rotors come with a hex key screw that should be much easier to remove.
