My new blower motor should arrive tomorrow, so I'm pulling the old one out tonight in the hopes that I can swap in the new one at work and have a/c for the 60 mile drive home. I can't figure out how to get the stupid white plastic fan off the motor, and I know I need it for the new one. Any help?

 

Nevermind--I figured it out. I just needed to get brave and pull really hard (I had my little brother hold one side and brace against a wall while I pulled the other).

 

You did it wrong, you're supposed to be the one braced against the wall so you can watch your little brother go sprawling across the room when it comes loose...
