i can't seem to get me passenger side air bag out. it has been deployed don't know if that makes a differents. i have taken out the glove box and the three bolts that hold it in place and it just does not want to come out. its as if their something else holding it but their is nothing that i can see. don't know if this helps but my car is a 97 civic dx. thanks

Should just be those three bolts. I took mine out, and it had those three, but it was still connected/hooked into the plastic dash piece. The dash piece was harder to get out! I'd say do one more safety check for bolts, then jiggle and jimmy it til it comes out.

did you unplug the wiring harness from it ??

Kind of have to to remove the airbag, right? The Chilton's manual says to unhook your battery before doing it though...duh...unless you want something exploding in your face! But unplugging it now that it's deployed shouldn't matter anyhow...You'd prolly have to take it to the dealership or something to get the SRS light on your instrument cluster to go out after installing your new bag though.
